Our client is an international company, operating in the field of energy management and renewable energy resources.

The company manages more than 35 financings (corporate loans) for projects based in Africa, Latin America and Europe, on different technologies and with various lending entities (commercial banks, development institutions, investors, etc.).

Compliance with these financings (loans) is very important for the development of the group. A monitoring process for these financings is in place at corporate level – this process is supported by a monitoring tool run in SharePoint, centralizing all the commitments taken by the projects pursuant to their financings.

In order to support and manage the compliance of all global loans, the company is looking for a Global Credit Analyst to join the local business centre.

Position Details

Under the direction of the Global VP of Credit Compliance, and in coordination with regional finance teams managing the projects locally, the Credit Analyst will be in charge of:

  • SharePoint monitoring tool reporting:
    • Preparing the reporting supporting Debt Compliance monitoring;
    • Maintaining SharePoint tool users’ matrices and procedures;
    • Reporting any unexpected behaviour of the SharePoint tool;
  • Support to SharePoint tool users and to regional finance teams:
    • Supporting regional finance teams in the day-to-day use of the SharePoint tool;
    • Scheduling debt compliance training sessions and preparing supporting materials;
    • Bringing project finance expertise and advices to regional teams on simple loan matters and waivers;
    • Completing finance documentation upload in the SharePoint tool;
  • Improvements:
    • Proposing improvements to the current process and tool;
    • Leverage on data gathered in SharePoint tool to build up user friendly charts and reports;
    • Gathering feedback from users via surveys.

Requirements:

  • Master’s or bachelor’s in business law and/or in banking and finance;
  • 2-3 years of experience from a banking – working at a corporate loans structure;
  • Proficiency in English;
  • Well-developed organizational and communication skills;
  • Strong attention to details;
  • Comfortable with financial contracts;
  • Ability to take ownership in job responsibilities.
