Our Client is a US-based company with over 30 years of experience in the FinTech industry, providing and developing a software for investment decision making and financial data management for private equity. They help their clients in taking secure investment decisions, manage their capital and assets in a profitable and efficient ways through their own investment management platform and analytics tools.
They are currently expanding their Global Technical Operations Team and are looking for a Deployment and Production Support Engineer, who is going to take care of the technical infrastructure and hosted services of the company’s software.

Position Details

You will:

  • Optimize SaaS private cloud infrastructure;
  • Participate in the deployment and troubleshooting of new and existing services of the system(s);
  • Analyze, resolve and escalate high-level application performance issues and follow a standard incident management policy;
  • Monitor system capacity, storage and performance;
  • Provide, maintain and enhance documentation related to the services knowledgebase;
  • Participate in creating Service Portfolio with action plans for different issues for internal and external use;
  • Make application data analysis;
  • Develop, maintain and update production and testing environments;
  • Manage logs;
  • Optimize the performance of SQL stored procedures and install websites via IIS;
  • Maintain code change management using Team Foundation Server (TFS);
  • Deploy & configure ETL packages, schedule them via SQL Server Agent and run reconciliation queries to cross-check the data;
  • Communicate with colleagues located abroad;
  • Accomplish projects;
  • Report to the Head of Technology.

Desired (technical) profile:

  • 2+ years of experience in DevOps field (deployment and production);
  • Experience in system/application monitoring;
  • Experience in Windows/ Linux/TFS servers’ configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting;
  • Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, NodeJS;
  • Knowledge in networking (HTTP, TCP, FTP, SSH etc.);
  • Working knowledge of SQL (MSSQL) databases;
  • Familiarity with Docker;
  • Practical experience in data and incident management;
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Fluency in English both written and verbal;
  • Great communication skills;
  • Nice-to-have:
    • Customer Support experience (with more advanced technical exposure).
