Financial Analyst
Position Details
Our client is a leading renewable energy developer with expertise across the full project lifecycle. They have successfully developed, financed and built numerous projects worth over €200 billion of investment.
They are currently looking to hire a Financial Analyst to conduct quantitative analytics and complex modeling for global renewable energy projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct quantitative analytics and complex modeling for renewable energy projects.
- Build financial models and quantify new business opportunities.
- Prepare presentational materials in relation to portfolio projects, investment and commercial opportunities.
- Assist in the investment process – research and analyze investment prospects and business ventures.
- Research commercial and innovative technologies in the field of renewable energy sources and energy in general.
- Follow through with different internal and external stakeholders.
- Evaluate transaction structures related to portfolio projects and potential investments.
Job Requirements
- Advanced degree in Finance, Physics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Comp Science, or similar
- 2+ years of experience in financial modelling
- Proficiency in English
- Strong data analytics skills – data analysis and financial optimizations
- Financial modeling in Python or similar language is an advantage
- Focus on details, ability to consider all relevant factors when modeling and analyzing
- Creative, independent, highly motivated
- Ability to learn quickly, have a high level of intellectual curiosity, and strong research skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload.
- Skills and experience in programming would be an advantage
