For one of our clients – a dynamic and digital-oriented financial institution, we are currently looking for an experienced professional to take the position of a Fraud Analyst.
Job/ Principal Responsibilities:
Collect and analyze a wide variety of information to identify/investigate suspicious situations acting within defined limits and guidelines and prepares escalation files for review which provide analysis, identification of root cause, linkages and process gaps and outlines opportunities for process improvement, customer services and product
Take actions to recover funds in the event of a fraud, by contacting the appropriate branches and/or internal partners to reduce the
Provide subject matter expertise and advice to any other relevant staff (e.g. Sales, Underwriting, Collection) and assists in specific diagnosis, determines the nature of the potential fraud incident and makes decisions on appropriate investigative path while acting as the point of escalation as
Identify opportunities and develops recommendations for fraud process improvements and product
Monitor the performance of various fraud strategies and generates reports necessary to evaluate the fraud
Create clear, concise written reports in summarizing fraud analysis results and suggested anti-fraud process
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or a related quantitative field
Minimum 3+ years of experience in e-commerce, payments or financial services related to fraud detection and investigation.
Experience in the application fraud risk discipline with all types of consumer lending products is highly desired.
Experience with drafting anti-fraud rules/policies, fraud strategies as well as improving and focusing capabilities within fraud systems like iovation or any other tools covering device fingerprinting, IP geolocation, velocity etc. is a significant advantage.
