For their local Centre of Excellence, the company is looking to attract an experienced and highly motivated senior expert for the position of Indirect Procurement Lead.

Job Description:

  • Leadership and support of the assigned staff, optimizing personal development; motivation and retention of the direct report staff;
  • Supervises and approves all major contract negotiations and strategic decisions done by the direct report staff within Outsourcing category;
  • Builds & executes competitive and innovative procurement strategies; assesses supplier risks and opportunities; aligns on budget & LRP objectives;
  • Collects in-depth intelligence of the global and local market and its development; builds fact-base for the assigned category;
  • Delivers cost improvements and other category performance objectives; supports budgeting process and savings reporting;
  • Management of business relationship with the suppliers; setting and management of routine business reviews with critical suppliers (performance & internal customer satisfaction, business/financial and operations reviews, risk assessment, market intelligence);
  • Operates in global market.

Job Requirements:

  • University degree in Engineering or Economy;
  • At least 7 years of relevant work experience, preferably within a procurement department (supply chain or controlling);
  • Experience from leading a team;
  • Capability to manage the business at the executive level: internal stakeholders and suppliers;
  • Ability to work across all functions and geographies as well as in the culturally diverse environment;
  • Business acumen and ability to build sustainable business connectivity;
  • People management skills, ability to motivate, inspire and develop a team
  • Strong internal customer & business focus, result orientation;
  • Solid listening, communication (both oral and written), and presentation skills;
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word);
  • SAP knowledge is advantage;
  • Advanced English.
