Openstack Engineer

They are currently looking to hire an Openstack Engineer to join a team of highly skilled engineers across Sofia, Boston and London. You would be working in a friendly and social team that is motivated to solve complex problems and design interesting solutions. You would have the chance to take a part in transforming the company’s infrastructure working with modern open-source solutions.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage OpenStack private clouds.
- Toubleshoot and optimize OpenStack environments.
- Implement and maintain automation tools for cloud provisioning and management.
- Ensure system security and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate OpenStack with other services.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
- Stay up to date with new developments in the cloud computing field.
Job Requirements
- OpenStack experience on premise
- Ansible Kolla experience
- Linux administration experience.
- Proficient with Python scripting and automation.
- Experience with managing and scaling hypervisor technologies at an enterprise level.
- Strong understanding of Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working with enterprise hardware in the datacenter.
- Participate in an on-call support rota – one day a week
Advantageous
- Certifications in OpenStack, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure and AWS.
- Experience with Grafana & Prometheus
