We are hiring a QA Team Lead for one of the widely known innovative companies /according to Forbes magazine/ and global information services companies. The employer provides data and analytical tools to clients around the world and helps businesses to manage credit risk, prevent fraud, target marketing offers, automate decision making, understand and analyze their credit report and credit score and protect against identity theft. The company is a leading credit information services company, offers technical solutions for management of customer acquisition and retention, enabling its customers to adapt quickly to dynamic business situations, different regulatory environments and grow their business profitably.

The position is open in their Credit Services department that collect and analyze the credit histories of over one billion people and businesses through various systems and platforms. They sort information about the credit they applied for, whether or not their applications were successful, and how they paid the credit back. They turn this information into a credit report. These credit reports are used by businesses such as banks, automotive dealers, healthcare providers and retailers to help calculate credit scores and make decisions about lending and the terms on which to lend.

Position Details

Your work will be:

  • Project and people management;
  • Involvement in testing (for instance, but not limited to: functional, non-functional, automation testing) on all applications;
  • Evaluate application requirements, design documents and work closely with Product Management, Systems Engineers and architects to contribute to the Testing strategy for projects;
  • Develop, maintain, review and enhance comprehensive Tests and Test plans for the projects, manage and coordinate the test related work with the local and global teams;
  • Examine procedures, working processes and update them, when and if needed;
  • Proactively contribute in retrospectives and defect escape analysis;
  • Contribute to creation of training programs, plans and materials related with the processes and the products under test;
  • Keep the QA/ Testers motivated;
  • Participate in recruitment activities;
  • Owns and drives improvement initiatives;
  • Guide and support the fellow colleagues in their daily work and share experience.

You need:

  • 4+ years’ experience in the QA field;
  • 1+ year’ experience in a Team Lead position;
  • Excellent knowledge of the contemporary technologies for quality assurance and testing (V-model, Scrum, FDD, etc.);
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills;
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken);
  • Excellent analytical, managing and tutoring skills;
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision;
  • Any of the following will be considered as an advantage:
    • Working experience in Agile environment (Scrum, Kanban, Lean);
    • University Degree in a Mathematical, Computing or Science discipline.
