We’re currently supporting one of our clients – a well-known and one of the biggest European technology-services company, in the settlement of their HR Centre of Excellence for the EMEA region. They’re looking for an expert to join their Recruitment team, which is going to be responsible for the German-speaking markets sourcing for IT job vacancies. You will join a dynamic and creative team that delivers intelligent candidate sourcing and selection to its internal customers in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa (EMEA). You will work with both business managers and HR partners to identify, pool and engage the best talents to join the global organization.

As a Recruiter/ Sourcer, you will operate the core of recruitment services within the organization. Dedicatedly using a blend of market information and intelligence from hiring and recruiting partners, you will source, screen and pre-select the best applicants and cooperate closely with business leaders and on-site recruiters on a final candidate shortlist. Your service-oriented mentality will help you successfully to act as candidate liaison through the entire recruitment journey.

Position Details

Job Responsibilities:

  • Align closely with local hiring and recruitment managers to clarify the needed candidate skills and profiles for job openings;
  • As the primary point of contact for candidates from sourcing to post-offer check-ups, you are charged with being the face of the company throughout the candidate journey from start to finish;
  • Ensure high-quality job requisitions to attract the most suitable candidates to open positions;
  • Source IT and business profiles through different search channels, like active sourcing, through job boards, and with the help of agencies and head-hunters for specific candidate profiles;
  • Screen and pre-select candidate profiles, using assessment techniques and closely aligning with business expectations;
  • Take good care of job and candidate data in a recruitment tool and ensure fast and neat processing of all candidates;
  • Support short-listing and final candidate selection on request.

 

Requirements:

To be successful on this role, you’ll need a rich combination of sourcing experience, validated skills and personal attributes in hiring and candidate handling, having demonstrable experience inside of a recruitment or HR environment, dealing with some of the following: writing job descriptions and specifications, sourcing techniques, CV and candidate management, pre-selection and applicant assessments, and data management.

A must-have:

  • Real passion for recruiting and thirst to learn more about the evolving talent acquisitions channels in the EMEA region;
  • To be knowledgeable and an expert for operational recruitment tooling;
  • Strong language, writing and communication skills – in English and German;
  • To be able and eager to work closely together with hiring managers and local recruitment managers.

A nice-to-have:

  • Knowledge about pre-selection and candidate assessments;
  • Data management skills;
  • Active sourcing and talent pooling approach;
  • Alertness and responsiveness to customer needs;
  • Willingness to work in an international team;
  • Service- and customer orientation.
